Welcome to the Hillsborough in Bloom website. A place to catch up on all the action happening in our area. We are proud to announce that we won the Silver Rose award in our chosen category of Urban Community.
The judges said:
"What enormous strides this community has made since we visited them in the spring! The judges were extremely impressed by the many improvements and achievements accomplished by Hillsborough in Bloom in their first year. The growing involvement of residents, of groups in the walled garden, of the schools and of youth groups is excellent. Hillsborough in Bloom is set to grow from strength to strength."
We are now hoping for volunteers to come forward to be part of the Bloom 2010 planning group - if you would like to be a part of a winning team whatever you have to offer please contact us!
